Asset security is our #1 priority at O3. Protecting your coins is the most important function of any wallet provider.

5 Facts to Keep Your Coins Safe.

1. Your assets are stored on the blockchain, instead of the O3 wallet.

In the world of blockchain, a wallet is a tool to help you manage assets on the chain and show the data. Your assets are stored on the chain, not in the wallet. Sometimes the internet or blockchain network is unstable, the assets might not be shown on the wallet. Don’t worry, your assets are always on the chain. On the other hand, if you delete the APP or your device is broken or lost, you can re-download the wallet and import the backed-up private key to restore your previous wallet. (refer to this article)

2. O3 Wallet never stores your private keys or your passwords. Your assets are 100% in your control.

Did you lnoGoogle and Facebook store your data continuously on their servers. Having your data stored on their servers puts you at an increased risk of someone accessing that data. meaning that if you lose your private key and password, O3 team has no way to recover your private key. We do not have password recovery services. Therefore, we highly recommend back up your wallet properly and immediately after creating or importing a wallet. (refer to this article)

3. Who owns the private key, who owns the asset. Never reveal your private key to anyone.

In O3 Wallet, users hold their keys by themselves. The private key is like your credit card password. Please aware holding the private key is equal to holding assets. If you have questions about transactions or asset amounts, we only need your address. Our admin and developers never ask for your Private keys / Encrypted keys / Mnemonic / Keystore!

4. Our admin and team members never send you a private message at first.

We have two communities, one is Telegram and the other is O3 Forum. If you have comments or questions, feel free to contact us. Please note that our admin and team members never contact you at first. If someone asks you first do you need any assistance on Telegram, they are trying to trick out your private keys.

5. Make sure you always have backed up your keys before update/ delete/ redownload the APP.

In case of any accident, please make sure you always backed up your private keys and password once creating a wallet.
